Beckett's Kopf

Becketts Kopf is a true gem of Berlin’s bar scene and enjoys a stellar reputation far beyond the city. Only a small green lantern and the face of its namesake, Samuel Beckett, hint at this special bar. It is run by the owners Oliver Ebert, who has twice been awarded the title “Mixologist of the Year” at the Mixology Awards, and his wife Cristina Neves. Both have spent more than twenty years behind the bar or in service, shaping the place with genuine passion.

The focus here is on classic cocktails with a story, made using products from small independent distilleries and carefully selected suppliers. Big brands are deliberately left out. The team’s knowledge about making drinks and the history of classic cocktails is impressive, like a living encyclopedia. The drinks are short and strong, precisely crafted and balanced with great care.
